PRACTICE PROFILE
Charles B. Roberts & Associates, P.C., is an experienced personal injury law firm with trial attorneys whose success rate is nearly double the national average.  Our legal services consist almost exclusively of serious personal injury, wrongful death claims and other cases where innocent victims have suffered due to the negligent and reckless actions of others.  We have recovered millions of dollars for our clients who have suffered debilitating or permanent injuries or who have suffered the tragic and unexpected loss of a loved one.

Our attorneys have significant experience in these areas:
  • Medical Malpractice
  • Motor Vehicle Injuries
  • Toxic Torts
  • Motorcycle Deaths
  • Commercial Common Carriers (Trains, Trucks and Buses)
  • Breast Implant Cases
  • Slips and Falls
  • Defective Products
  • Swine Flu Vaccine Complications
  • Nursing Home Negligence

Charles B. Roberts & Associates, P.C., practice law in jurisdictions throughout the Unites States.  For example, in 1997 Mr. Roberts was retained by a Virginia family to obtain compensation from a North Carolina farming company whose employee drove a tractor into the path of a car driven by their 74 year old mother, killing her instantly.  Several weeks before the scheduled trial in Halifax County, North Carolina, the farming company offered and the family accepted a settlement of almost $500,000.00.

Charles B. Roberts & Associates, P.C., also provide expert legal advice and representation on matters involving medical malpractice.  We have handled numerous cases involving claims for millions of dollars, and have been successful in settling or taking these cases to a successful jury verdict.  In a recent medical malpractice trial, the jury panel deliberated less than 10 minutes before reaching a unanimous verdict for Mr. Roberts' client.  In that matter the client was able to recover $325,000.00 because of the physicians' negligence. The United States Army, on the other hand, chose to settle its medical malpractice case prior to trial and Mr. Roberts was able to recover nearly $200,000.00 for his client.

While each personal injury, medical malpractice or wrongful death case must be evaluated on its own facts, it is important to consult with an attorney who is experienced in these fields before accepting a settlement or deciding whether or not to pursue a claim.
